Through chasing and repoussé, a technique that raise and sink the metal, I create the ancient Chinese ceremonial face that was regarded as the link between the sky and earth and the humankind. I was wondering: How would it be for the ancients to perceive the world and nature, without all the advanced technologies that we got now? Would they feel closer and more connected to earth?
