Unearthed IV (Emily Conlon)

Intaglio etching layered beneath a thin sheet of beeswax-coated Japanese paper. A small cutout in the top layer draws the viewer’s eye to an intimate detail of the image, while the rest remains softly obscured by a translucent veil. This contrast invites a slower looking and emphasizes the quiet textures within the work. Edition of 20. Framed in 12"x16" frame.
