Tree Spirit by Alan McKee (Amazing Moss Park Art Collective)

I went out for a walk in the woods just after a violent rain storm. There was a strange energy I could feel. In a clearing I found a bundle of branches with leaves on them bent into a unique shape. I felt that somehow the energy of the storm had taken root in this bundle. I picked it up and took it home, photographed it with a medium format camera scanned it in to the computer. The result is Tree Spirit. Simple black frame.
