The Red Isle (Moni Vems)

The Red Isle : PEI There is a small island in the Gulf of St. Lawrence that feels like it exists in its own quiet universe. PEI moves differently. The air is slower, the light is softer, the land meets the sea with a gentleness you don't find everywhere. I was drawn to it not for what it looks like but for what it feels like, that rare sense of belonging that some places carry without trying. This painting is that feeling.
