Realization (Morgan Booth)

"Realization" is part of my Gamma Waves series, exploring the emotional and physiological effects of color. The figure, rendered in soft blue oil paint, contrasts with a matte red backdrop and reflective gold, creating a push and pull sensation. Inspired by the brain's gamma wave activity, which is linked to insight and heightened awareness, the swirling patterns in the piece aim to evoke a trance-like state. The figure’s steady gaze invites a sense of being seen, prompting quiet introspection.
