Quantum String Dispenser (Francie McGlynn)

'The Quantum String Dispenser' is based on a childhood memory that turned into an amusing thought. My grandparents raised a large family during the Great Depression when nothing was wasted. They had a ceramic string dispenser in their kitchen hanging against the wall. It was s a face with a small hole in the mouth from which you could pull string. When I first heard of the Quantum StringTheory of Physics it seemed logical that the universe would have a string dispenser too.
