Pirouette (Amazing Moss Park Art Collective)

This image was inspired by studying a book on visual structures. These are not impossible shapes in 3 dimensions, but they are not commonly seen. Also, the shapes are made up of clusters of leaves to further hide the actual shapes. The shadows were painted rather than created with light as a real shadow would be. The central balance point is the point of energy for the whole image--like a ballerina on toe, the entire chain is about to spin.
