On my Mother's Stoop (Mina Vancardo)

This mixed-media work combines an original photograph with acrylic paint, cold wax, and collage to honour memories once precious to someone. Inspired by a home filled with flowers and plants, the work reflects on the quiet care of a mother, aunt, or neighbour, and celebrates the beauty found in ordinary lives and everyday rituals.
