Ode to Rikyu (Sheryl Ebon Martinez)

A minimalist tea bowl crafted in the spirit of Rikyu's simplicity and humility. Thrown on the wheel using a homemade clay and glazed with my homemade satin-matte smoky turquoise glaze then fired to cone 6 in oxidation.
