Maritime Brown Bread with Oatmeal and Molasses (Esther Slevinsky)

This is a painting containing all the ingredients for my Grandma Allen's Maritime Brown Bread. Made with Oatmeal and Molasses, it's also called Boston Brown Bread. Best served fresh from the oven with a giant glob of butter on top. Unfortunately, the butter in my real life painting set up was STOLEN by my dog Luna, who is pictured in the bottom right corner of the painting. I mean, I can't blame her, butter is delicious, but 1/2 cup of it on it's own is just gross.
