This colourful landscape painting depicts the natural and spiritual beauty of Georgian Bay, Ontario. It conjures up the iconic scenery of Canada’s “Group of Seven” painters while, at the same time, manifests a hybridity of modern, neon colours and gestural brushwork which are infused by the artist's personal memory, gratitude, and recognition of the temporality of the “heaven on earth” that is Georgian Bay.
