Landscape IV: Brooch (Micheline Roi)

I wanted to paint a landscape. But I don't paint—I work in metal. I eventually figured out how to make it work. This is my the third piece in my painterly landscape series and this one veered delightfully off the figurative track into abstract territory. The brooch is constructed from layers and layers of powder-coated Sterling silver and riveted into a Sterling silver frame .
