Grasping (Nichol Marsch)

This work is from my newest body of work 'Moonlight/klayr di leun' which explores memories, my body, and the environments I have encountered over the past two years. During this project I've created stencils/tracings of my body and found items (leave, rocks, etc) which I have used to produce various designs for beadwork and paintings. Grasping Buds, is a 16x16 inch painting depicting various foliage, buds, and seeds wrapping around a circular form that can be seen as a moon, portal, object.
