Gorgons_1 (Brigitta Kocsis)

Part of my painting practice includes pen-and-ink drawings, which use a distilled, monochromatic language, often centered on shadowy figures of the Gorgons, whose opaque, black, hooded forms subtly echo contemporary images of racialized bodies while reflecting current political and economic tensions.
