This is Steven’s most recent work, pushing the boundaries of the new mixed media style. He blends linework and acrylic paint into a surrealist piece that humorously combines classical French artwork of cowboys and Marine animal illustrations. The combination of acrylic painting techniques and linework creates a new visual language that speaks to a surrealist space of expressionism, nostalgia, and the unknown.
