Cape Monrovia (Lara Shecter)

Monrovia is the capital of Liberia, nearly 15,000 kilometres from where this ship was seen in Vancouver Harbour. It carries that distance in its name. The yellow superstructure rises like a patch of sun against the cool blues around it, the deep burgundy hull grounding it in something heavier.
