A Singular Presence (Harriet Liu)

This painting depicts a distinctive pine tree behind the Oakville Museum, whose expressive form and individual character caught my attention. Part of my ongoing project "Close to Home, Close to Heart", this work reflects my interest in discovering the personal and emotional significance of the landscapes around us. Supported by an Artist Project Grant from the Oakville Arts Council
